Senior Manager, PPC Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Take charge of performance across a diverse portfolio that includes multiple brands and verticals.

• Manage a team of six PPC managers, encompassing three different levels of seniority.

• Supervise paid search initiatives across approximately 100 domains, five verticals, and an annual budget of $26M.

• Drive channel innovation by introducing new campaign types, leveraging platform features, AI-driven testing, and automation.

• Collaborate with Product, PMM, SEO, Social, CRM, and Analytics teams to develop vertical-specific playbooks.

• Ensure quality assurance, governance, and measurement integrity to safeguard spending and uphold brand standards.

• Deliver executive reports that connect PPC performance to business outcomes.

• Communicate a campaign-level vision and engage directly with PPC platforms as necessary.

• Conduct training based on an internal Confluence-driven training program for rapid capability enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in digital marketing, including a minimum of 3 years in leadership roles within PPC teams.

• Proven track record in managing multi-brand, multi-vertical portfolios at a significant scale.

• Experience in marketing to B2B audiences, preferably alongside B2C initiatives.

• Ability to operate within regulated industries, where compliance influences campaign and creative possibilities.

• Extensive expertise in platforms like Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and cross-channel attribution.

• Strong analytical skills; proficiency in Excel and Sheets is required, with expected proficiency in Python (we can assist you in gaining this skill quickly if needed). Familiarity with Looker Studio or Power BI is a plus.

• Proven experience in mentoring and developing PPC managers, not merely specialists.

• Understanding of SEO, lifecycle marketing, and paid social to effectively integrate PPC into the overall strategy.
