
Senior Manager – Payments Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Create and implement a scalable payment strategy that aligns with HRD’s operational and business goals.
• Lead projects aimed at enhancing payment acceptance rates, minimizing payment friction, and optimizing overall payment performance.
• Act as a subject matter expert in payment operations, processors, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate across departments with Risk, Fraud, Compliance, Product, and Operations teams to support strategic business objectives.
• Track payment performance metrics, transaction trends, declines, chargebacks, disputes, and operational KPIs.
• Identify opportunities for improving authorization rates, lowering processing costs, and enhancing the customer experience.
• Analyze payment data and operational trends to proactively uncover gaps, risks, and potential optimization opportunities.
• Create scalable operational processes and reporting frameworks to facilitate business growth.
• Assess vendor performance, negotiate operational enhancements, and ensure compliance with service level expectations.
• Work closely with Fraud and Risk teams to ensure payment security and operational integrity.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to enhance payment infrastructure, workflows, and integrations.
• At least 7 years of experience in payments, payment operations, fintech, ecommerce, risk management, or related fields, preferably within the iGaming, online payments, or ecommerce sectors.
• Comprehensive understanding of payment processing ecosystems, including credit cards, ACH, PayPal, digital wallets, and alternative payment methods.
• Experience in managing payment processors, gateways, banking relationships, and third-party vendors.
• Demonstrated success in optimizing payment performance, operational workflows, and payment acceptance strategies.
• Exceptional communication skills with the capacity to translate complex operational concepts into actionable business insights.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to interpret large data sets and make informed, data-driven decisions.
• Familiarity with payment compliance regulations, industry standards, and card brand rules.
• Experience in managing chargebacks, disputes, payment risk, and operational escalations is preferred.
• Knowledge of SQL, reporting tools, AI, and data analytics platforms is advantageous.
