Senior Manager, Outsourced Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.

📋 Description

• Recognized as a Subject Matter Expert within the business unit, sharing valuable knowledge.

• Provide recommendations on procedures within the internal department.

• Identify business opportunities for our clients as well as for CBIZ.

• Trusted for insights into industry trends; identify client issues and conflicts, and proactively communicate solution options to management and team.

• Oversee staff on engagement deliverables; participate in reviews as a member of the final review team to ensure adherence to quality control standards.

• Accountable for new client development in collaboration with upper management; engage in client meetings and assist in the development of presentations and proposals.

• Comprehend clients' Qualified Plan requirements.

• Supervise, train, and mentor staff while ensuring effective communication.

• Strive to cultivate responsible, trained personnel by providing performance feedback and evaluations.

• Foster a team-oriented environment; exhibit support for management decisions and contribute to a positive culture.

• Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in public accounting or a related field.

• At least 5 years of supervisory experience.

• Capability to manage all facets of client engagements.

• Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple assignments, and prioritize tasks as needed.

• Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, across all organizational levels, internally and externally.

• Proficient in the use of relevant technology.

• Willingness to travel based on business requirements.
