Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate across accounting and finance departments

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

• Conduct bank and financial reconciliations while monitoring cash flow

• Generate management reports, income statements (DRE), and performance metrics

• Organize and record accounting documents

• Execute accounting reconciliations and evaluate general ledgers and trial balances

• Assist in monthly and year-end closing processes

• Manage fixed assets and compute depreciation

• Prepare and assess ancillary tax and accounting submissions (ECD, ECF)

• Assist with audits, tax inspections, and client inquiries

• Support tax-related tasks as required

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience managing the complete monthly accounting close process, ideally within accounting firms

• Knowledge of companies operating under the Simples Nacional and Presumed Profit tax systems, along with an understanding of the Actual Profit system

• Acquainted with financial procedures linked to the monthly closing cycle

• Background in financial BPO is advantageous

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting

• Proficient in accounting/tax software and ERPs (Contmatic, Omie, and/or Conta Azul)

• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel

• 1–3 years of relevant professional experience
