This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Propel Organic Expansion
• Design and implement organic growth strategies across SEO, AI search, and proprietary digital experiences that enhance qualified traffic, user sign-ups, activation, and revenue.
• Formulate Wave's strategy for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
• Track changes in search and discovery behaviors, pinpointing opportunities to elevate Wave’s visibility and market position.
• Assess new channels, technologies, and AI platforms that impact how small business owners find solutions.
• Create reporting and dashboards that offer transparent insights into performance and outcomes.
• Oversee Website Experience & Optimization
• Manage the website strategy, roadmap, and performance across Wave’s digital assets.
• Ensure the website delivers an exceptional experience that fosters acquisition, education, activation, and conversion.
• Develop and lead a comprehensive experimentation program aimed at enhancing conversion rates and customer journeys.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Lifecycle Marketing teams to refine key customer website pathways.
• Champion Search Excellence & Content Authority
• Direct technical SEO, site architecture, structured data, and content optimization efforts.
• Craft strategies to boost Wave's visibility, authority, and recommendation rates across both traditional and AI search platforms.
• Work with Product Marketing and Content teams to produce search-oriented content that drives acquisition and engagement.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance messaging, topics, and formats based on data and audience insights.
• 8+ years of experience in SEO, organic growth, website optimization, or growth marketing.
• Demonstrated success in increasing acquisition, conversion, and revenue within a SaaS, fintech, or product-led growth setting.
• Extensive knowledge of technical SEO, content strategy, website optimization, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
• Strong comprehension of AEO, GEO, AI search, and the evolving landscape of digital discovery.
• Proficient in analytics, experimentation, and SEO tools.
• Excellent analytical, strategic, and cross-functional leadership abilities.
• 3+ years of experience in people management.
