This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the organic search strategy and performance across all markets served, encompassing content strategy, technical SEO priorities, and local search.
• Manage non-paid new member volume and the non-paid share of total acquisitions.
• Develop and oversee the content strategy and roadmap throughout the customer journey.
• Collaborate with Performance Marketing to direct the website's information architecture and organic content experience.
• Implement scalable systems for content creation, publishing, maintenance, and governance.
• Oversee the website's content architecture, taxonomy, structured content, CMS governance, templates, and publishing workflows.
• Establish editorial standards and workflows for both internal and external contributors.
• Manage content migration and lifecycle processes, which include consolidation, redirects, archival, and adaptation.
• Build an operational framework that connects content strategy, evidence, execution, measurement, and learning.
• Supervise the freelance copywriter and manage the entire editorial production workflow.
• Take charge of AI citation, recommendation, and referral visibility for Eleanor Health.
• Set up measurement for AI visibility and utilize findings to inform organic, content, reputation, and distribution strategies.
• Develop strategies for entity, citation, structured data, content, and authority signals.
• Monitor AI-generated representations of Eleanor Health and treatment topics, prioritizing corrective actions as needed.
• Lead the reputation and local presence strategy across all markets, including listings, Google Business Profiles, directories, reviews, and community engagement.
• Establish frameworks for cross-functional reputation management.
• Address any inaccurate, outdated, or negative third-party information.
• Manage the relationship with the public relations agency and assess its contributions.
• Oversee editorial distribution and syndication programs.
• Direct the marketing brand strategy and governance, which includes voice, messaging, visual standards, and consistent application.
• Maintain a scalable brand system and guide its application with design partners.
• Manage the relationship with design partners.
• Develop and mentor direct reports while leading distributed internal and external specialists.
• Collaborate with Performance Marketing, Access, Clinical, People, Payer Partnerships, Analytics, Technology, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain a quarterly operating plan that outlines initiatives, impacts, owners, dependencies, resources, and timelines.
• Enhance measurement and attribution for non-paid acquisition.
• Report on performance against acquisition and visibility targets.
• Synthesize data from performance, search, reputation, visibility, and customer journeys into actionable priorities and hypotheses.
• Maintain decision context and apply appropriate standards of evidence to performance claims.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in organic growth, SEO, content strategy, content operations, or related digital growth disciplines.
• Proven experience in driving business outcomes rather than merely delivering a set of tasks.
• Demonstrated success in organic search, preferably including local, multi-location, or multi-market search.
• Hands-on experience with generative engine optimization, AI search visibility, or entity, citation, content, and authority signals.
• A genuine curiosity and willingness to experiment within the evolving AI visibility landscape.
• Experience in translating business objectives into effective content strategies.
• Proficient in managing content systems, workflows, governance, and contributors.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms, structured content, taxonomy, information architecture, and web publishing workflows.
• Experience in managing or directing teams and specialist partners.
• Comfort with imperfect attribution and ability to establish robust measurement approaches.
• Capability to identify data limitations and convert evidence into actionable decisions and testable hypotheses.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
• Sound decision-making skills in a regulated environment, especially concerning patient privacy, clinical accuracy, reputation, and public participation.
• Ability to prioritize across a broad scope and communicate trade-offs effectively.
• Skill in building systems and processes where they currently do not exist.
• Experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or healthcare marketing is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Experience in multi-state or multi-location organic and local search is a plus but not essential.
• Working knowledge of structured data and schema markup is beneficial but not required.
• Experience directing public relations, creative, SEO, or specialized agency/freelance partners is helpful but not a requirement.
• Familiarity with brand governance or design systems is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience with content migrations, CMS implementations, or major website redesigns is beneficial but not required.
