This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Create unique Gartner positions regarding the economic implications of AI and technological disruption across various markets, business models, and value chains.
• Collaborate with the Tech Market Economics Modelling team to convert emerging signals into influential market research and thought leadership.
• Integrate economics, quantitative data, novel information sources, and domain expertise into distinctive Gartner viewpoints.
• Produce research insights that shape executive decisions, industry narratives, and market discussions.
• Influence the development of Tech Market Economics by identifying significant market opportunities and pertinent questions.
• Provide independent insights to Gartner leaders to guide research agendas.
• Generate innovative, thought-provoking content that delivers high-leverage insights.
• Develop thought leadership and actionable strategies addressing client requirements.
• Offer practical advice through virtual or in-person client interactions.
• Design and present materials for Gartner conferences, industry events, media engagements, and client briefings.
• Assist Gartner's sales and business development efforts with market insights and executive engagement.
• Ensure high-quality, timely peer review of content.
• Establish credibility as an authority on Tech Market Economic trends, representing Gartner's insights, methodology, and strategy.
• Engage in innovation, ideation, and research discussions, collaborating with colleagues across Gartner.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
• Maintain a client-focused approach centered on actionable insights and measurable client value.
• Proven experience evaluating the economic, commercial, and competitive effects of Agentic AI disruption across markets, products, business models, or value chains.
• Expertise in synthesizing economic analysis, quantitative data, financial statements, market intelligence, and business context into distinct research, thought leadership, and strategic recommendations.
• Demonstrated ability to identify emerging economic and market trends and translate diverse evidence into compelling narratives, research conclusions, or business insights for executives.
• Strong judgment in assessing emerging signals, economic data, and analytical results.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred.
• Over 10 years of relevant industry or field experience.
• Executive presence with the ability to build credibility with executives and stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills and capacity to perform under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional research and writing abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in data analysis and synthesis.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
• Subject matter expertise and comfort in presenting at both large and small-scale speaking engagements.
• Strong business and financial understanding.
• In-depth knowledge of the global and competitive landscape in the relevant subject area.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams in a multicultural global environment.
