This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Take charge of motion design as a key discipline throughout the European region.
• Develop and implement motion-design strategies, standards, and systems across various campaigns.
• Design, animate, and edit motion graphics and video content for upper- and mid-funnel campaigns.
• Modify videos for platforms such as YouTube, Meta, and others.
• Oversee multiple high-volume projects with tight deadlines.
• Contribute to the ideation of YouTube-first concepts.
• Discover motion-design testing opportunities and enhance testing speed.
• Utilize YouTube metrics and HighRise reporting to inform creative choices.
• Assess and adopt tools and workflows, including AI-assisted animation techniques.
• Present performance insights to refine creative outputs.
• Act as the authoritative voice on motion-design decisions.
• Supervise agencies and freelancers, providing guidance and feedback.
• Mentor and manage junior team members.
• Develop reusable systems and templates to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
• Uphold brand integrity and quality by reviewing, editing, and enhancing motion assets.
• 5-7+ years of practical experience in motion design and video editing, with a robust portfolio showcasing end-to-end craftsmanship.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple high-volume projects under tight, fast-paced deadlines.
• Mastery of motion design and editing software, including After Effects and Premiere.
• Extensive experience in creating YouTube-first video content and adapting materials for Meta.
• Familiarity with YouTube metrics, HighRise, or similar reporting tools.
• Practical knowledge of AI-assisted animation tools and workflows.
• Native or fluent in German (required).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong understanding of the German-speaking market, focusing on cultural trends, consumer behavior, and best practices in localization.
• Experience managing or mentoring junior designers, freelancers, or agency partners.
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
• Proven experience in localizing creative assets while maintaining brand consistency.
• Experience in DTC, subscription, or health and wellness sectors is a plus.
