This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Oversee and expand a portfolio of emerging business accounts through consultative selling, strategic planning, and proactive relationship management to maximize revenue, retention, and customer lifetime value.
• Build, develop, and lead a high-performing inside sales team through effective coaching, performance management, and talent development initiatives that ensure consistent achievement of sales targets.
• Establish foundational sales processes, performance standards, and operational disciplines for this new function, creating a scalable model that can be replicated across the organization.
• Design and implement data-informed sales strategies to penetrate new markets, enhance existing customer relationships, and systematically identify and convert qualified business opportunities within this high-potential segment.
• Establish and refine scalable sales processes including proactive retention strategies, structured business reviews, competitive bidding frameworks, and funnel management disciplines.
• Advocate for the adoption and utilization of our centralized CRM platform (preferably Salesforce) to maintain data integrity, visibility into sales activities, and accurate forecasting.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations & Excellence to leverage insights from potential modeling, territory optimization, and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions and resource allocation.
• 5+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in a B2B environment.
• Proven success in managing both direct accounts and sales teams concurrently.
• Demonstrated ability to establish new functions or scale early-stage sales operations.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a history of identifying and seizing untapped opportunities.
• Strong process orientation with the capability to create structure in ambiguous environments.
• Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and building scalable sales operations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert data into actionable strategies.
• Exceptional coaching and talent development abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales technology stack.
