This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and implement a comprehensive retention marketing strategy aimed at enhancing customer lifetime value, boosting repeat purchase rates, driving subscription growth, and fostering customer loyalty.
• Refine customer journey approaches throughout acquisition, replenishment, engagement, subscription, cross-selling, upselling, win-back, and loyalty interactions.
• Manage the lifecycle calendar for email and SMS communication channels.
• Design tailored customer experiences through segmentation, behavioral triggers, predictive insights, and customer data analysis.
• Enhance automated lifecycle processes, including Welcome Series, Abandonment, First Purchase Nurture, Post-Purchase Journeys, Product Education, Replenishment Reminders, Subscription Enrollment, Subscription Retention & Save Flows, Loyalty Programs, and Win-Back Campaigns.
• Oversee subscription lifecycle strategies from initial acquisition to long-term retention.
• Boost subscriber acquisition, increase active subscriber rates, extend average subscription tenure, and elevate subscriber lifetime value.
• Formulate initiatives to reduce churn and implement cancellation prevention programs.
• Create testing protocols, including A/B and multivariate testing across messaging, offers, creative content, timing, segmentation, recommendations, subscription experiences, landing pages, and conversion pathways.
• Track and report on retention KPIs, customer cohorts, and lifecycle reporting structures.
• Utilize customer feedback, surveys, reviews, and behavioral data to shape strategic direction.
• Collaborate with teams in Ecommerce, Brand Marketing, Creative, Product Development, Customer Experience, and Analytics.
• Synchronize lifecycle initiatives with product launches, promotional efforts, seasonal campaigns, and retention objectives.
• Work with designers and copywriters to develop retention-centered creative and messaging strategies.
• Report directly to the Sr. Director of Ecommerce.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Lifecycle Marketing, CRM, Retention Marketing, or Customer Marketing within DTC Ecommerce, subscription, beauty, skincare, wellness, or consumer brands (mandatory).
• Demonstrated success in increasing customer retention, repeat purchase rates, subscription revenue, and customer lifetime value through innovative ideas and perspectives.
• Extensive knowledge in email and SMS marketing strategy, segmentation, automation, and personalization.
• Strong experience with lifecycle platforms such as Klaviyo, Postscript, and Recharge is essential.
• Proven experience in managing subscription businesses and recurring revenue programs is critical.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to convert data into practical business insights.
• Advanced comprehension of customer journey mapping and lifecycle strategy.
• Experience in designing and implementing A/B testing frameworks.
• Strong creative judgment and an understanding of effective direct-response messaging, storytelling, and customer psychology.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

• Experience in managing agencies, freelancers, and direct reports.
