This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, submit, and advocate for AI and predictive model filings in SERFF from creation to approval.
• Develop model checklists, methodology narratives, validation summaries, and variable justifications.
• Oversee objection and interrogatory responses, collaborating with data science, actuarial, product teams, and external counsel.
• Establish processes, tools, and standards to ensure multistate filing efficiency as volume increases.
• Assist carrier clients with rate and underwriting filings utilizing ZestyAI models.
• Respond to departmental inquiries and represent ZestyAI in client meetings and collaborative sessions.
• Keep track of state requirements, bulletins, and departmental stance.
• Convert regulatory requirements into internal guidelines and client communications.
• Adapt swiftly in a dynamic, business-oriented environment.
• Over 6 years of experience in the U.S. P&C insurance sector, particularly in regulatory affairs, compliance, product management, actuarial science, or a related field.
• Experience gained in a carrier, rating or advisory organization, department of insurance, or filing consultancy.
• Direct involvement in multistate P&C rate, rule, and form filings in SERFF from drafting to approval.
• Proven track record in writing objection responses and resolving issues directly with department analysts and actuaries.
• Proficiency with AI tools such as Claude integrated into your daily operations.
• Experience in developing prompts, templates, and tools for operations across 51 jurisdictions.
• Familiarity with rating plans, rate and rule manuals, class plans, and actuarial analysis.
• Excellent persuasive technical writing skills under tight deadlines.
• Capability to transform technical and statistical documentation into a filing narrative that regulators will accept.
• Professional demeanor and composure when engaging with external audiences, including carrier clients, department personnel, and industry groups.
• Discretion to manage a workstream independently, knowing when to escalate issues.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
