
Senior Manager, Inside Sales – US Federal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +3 more states.
• Collaborate with various business units within Optiv + ClearShark to create innovative go-to-market strategies aimed at generating demand and enhancing the sales pipeline.
• Ensure effective collaboration across multiple departments and the Optiv + ClearShark Sales Group to develop sales initiatives that the team can utilize to qualify and convert raw leads from the Marketing division.
• Uphold the quality of lead opportunities throughout the sales lifecycle and ensure that opportunities are updated correctly.
• Coordinate with OEM resources to arrange vendor training sessions and outbound calling activities with the Sales Team to cultivate new relationships and stimulate collaborative opportunity creation.
• Establish and maintain relationships with inside sales leadership alongside strategic vendors and distribution partners.
• Work with OEM marketing resources to identify new OEM incentives that can be utilized for sales challenges to drive iterative new leads and opportunities.
• Represent Optiv + ClearShark at government and industry events.
• Maintain a balance between company policies and customer benefits when making decisions.
• Manage CRM maintenance and hygiene, and deliver training plans and programs to enforce best practices in opportunity and quote management.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Proven history of leading inside sales teams and achieving annual growth targets.
• Experience with strategic sales skills and a proven ability to develop and expand key accounts.
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in direct sales to the US Federal sector.
• At least 3+ years of relevant supervisory or management experience required to motivate and develop direct reports.
• Experience or equivalent background in inside sales or a related field.
• Demonstrated sales leadership experience (preferably in the Federal sector) and people management skills, with a proven record of leading teams that meet or exceed revenue goals.
• Confidence in making data-driven decisions and recommendations, along with strong change management capabilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in delivering high-level presentations effectively, professionally, and comfortably to customers, peers, and management.
