This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee critical workstreams within YesF’s federal and state implementation portfolio, primarily focusing on federal scholarship initiatives.
• Create and implement support systems including cohort-based learning, startup advisory assistance, and scalable tools aimed at expediting the launch and growth of programs.
• Collaborate closely with organizational leaders to facilitate launch readiness, operational planning, and initial implementation stages.
• Develop and provide practical implementation resources, such as startup playbooks, compliance guidance, donor engagement strategies, and various tools.
• Convert federal policy and emerging guidelines into clear, actionable steps for SGOs and their partners.
• Assist YesF’s engagement with federal agencies by translating implementation insights into constructive feedback and recommendations that foster a clear and effective regulatory environment for SGOs.
• Oversee timelines and deliverables across several implementation efforts.
• Coordinate with national partners and stakeholders to disseminate learnings and enhance implementation strategies.
• Compose high-quality memos, briefings, and external documents to support strategic initiatives and communication efforts.
• A proactive individual with an entrepreneurial attitude who takes initiative, identifies opportunities, and drives work forward.
• 5-8 years of experience in policy implementation, program management, nonprofit operations, or a related discipline.
• Strong grasp of program operations and execution, ideally with experience in education programs, tax credits, or non-profit environments.
• Exceptional written communication skills, capable of simplifying complex ideas into clear, actionable guidance.
• Proficient in managing multiple priorities and adhering to deadlines.
• Driven by a passion for expanding educational opportunities and ensuring programs effectively serve families.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 35% of the time.
