This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Conduct internal investigations regarding matters related to P&W Global Trade policy or concerns about export control and sanctions compliance, which includes interviewing witnesses, collecting relevant documents, and consulting with subject matter experts across Pratt & Whitney and RTX.
• In collaboration with legal counsel from the Global Trade Investigations & Disclosures group, research the relevance of U.S. and foreign regulations concerning controlled military and dual-use items, and determine if a situation represents a breach of Global Trade regulations or policies.
• Keep evidence organized meticulously and accurately document the resolution of all issues.
• Assist with initiatives and projects led by the Global Trade Investigations & Disclosures group as necessary.
• Continuously promote and enhance Pratt & Whitney’s “Speak Up” culture while maintaining integrity at all times.
• Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of professional experience in a Legal, Regulatory, or Global Trade role; OR an Advanced Degree with 7+ years of professional experience in a Legal, Regulatory, or Global Trade role.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to specific program restrictions.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Knowledge and experience with U.S. export, import, and sanctions regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
• Proficiency in utilizing and understanding digital technology tools, including software platforms utilized in engineering and manufacturing sectors.
• Capability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of management, internal clients, and Global Trade professionals across the enterprise.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities within tight deadlines.
• Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment is advantageous, though not mandatory.
