This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Lead the strategy and execution of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) across the USBO portfolio.
β’ Convert enterprise priorities and standards into coordinated actions among brands, functions, GEO platforms, agencies, and external partners.
β’ Act as the primary GEO liaison for USBO.
β’ Engage directly with designated GEO platforms.
β’ Facilitate regular cross-functional reviews.
β’ Transform GEO insights into actionable marketing and communication strategies.
β’ Ensure effective follow-through with U.S. brand teams.
β’ Convert the overarching enterprise GEO strategy into actionable priorities for USBO brands, aligning stakeholders around significant opportunities.
β’ Recognize GEO opportunities and translate insights into actionable steps across marketing, content, digital experiences, communications, and source authority.
β’ Coordinate with stakeholders in Marketing, Medical, Corporate Communications, Decision Sciences, Digital, Content, and Legal/Regulatory.
β’ Oversee GEO activities across designated platforms, agencies, and external partners, ensuring quality and timely execution.
β’ Implement enterprise GEO processes, governance, standards, and measurement throughout the portfolio.
β’ Manage GEO priorities and planned initiatives across USBO brands.
β’ Evaluate platform findings, determine business implications, and initiate follow-up actions.
β’ Align decisions and responsibilities, document actions, and ensure follow-through on delivery and escalations.
β’ Integrate GEO recommendations into marketing plans, content strategies, digital experiences, channel activities, and launch preparations.
β’ Analyze GEO reporting, track performance, and identify opportunities for optimization.
β’ Oversee routine platform and agency activities, including inputs, deliverables, timelines, quality assurance, knowledge transfer, and escalation of resource or scope requirements.
β’ Doctorate degree with 2 years of experience in Marketing, Digital Strategy, Commercial Operations, Decision Sciences, or a related field, OR a Master's degree with 4 years of relevant experience, OR a Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience, OR an Associate's degree with 10 years of relevant experience, OR a high school diploma/GED with 12 years of experience in the same fields.
β’ Proven experience in leading U.S. pharmaceutical marketing, digital initiatives, omnichannel strategies, content development, commercial operations, or transformation projects.
β’ Solid understanding of AI-driven search, GEO and SEO principles, content architecture, and digital discoverability.
β’ Direct experience with digital, search, or marketing technology platforms, translating insights into clear marketing and business actions.
β’ Exceptional cross-functional leadership and influencing abilities across various brands and functions within a matrixed organization.
β’ Experience in incorporating new digital or marketing capabilities into U.S. brand planning, content development, and launch processes.
β’ Background in managing agencies, technology vendors, or strategic partners, along with strong communication and change leadership skills.
