This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive commissioning strategy for a varied fleet of power generation facilities, encompassing large-scale reciprocating engine power plants and gas turbine setups.
• Act as the principal technical authority for gas-fired facilities during the transition from engineering stages through commissioning and into operational phases.
• Lead the assessment and enhancement of EPC contract documents pertaining to commissioning, performance evaluation, and mechanical completion, ensuring that phase-specific commissioning requirements are well articulated.
• Oversee and coordinate third-party commissioning teams, establishing project scope, validating progress, and ensuring consistency with project timelines.
• Guarantee the collection of high-quality commissioning data, including performance curves and baseline operational profiles, to facilitate long-term reliability initiatives.
• Over 10 years of experience in power plant commissioning, with specialized knowledge of reciprocating engine and gas turbine technologies.
• Proven track record in reviewing and enhancing EPC technical documents and performance testing protocols for intricate, multi-asset projects.
• Strong capability to lead external teams while offering technical insights and challenging upstream engineering and design decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
