Senior Manager Fund Accounting, Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Generate precise investor reports encompassing IRR, TVPI, DPI, RVP, NAV, and carried interest calculations.

• Ensure adherence to Invest Europe guidelines and manage ad-hoc inquiries.

• Compile annual financial statements, including accompanying notes.

• Work closely with auditors to maintain quality and adhere to timelines.

• Perform risk-oriented assessments of accounting data, reconciliations, and valuation checks.

• Continuously enhance quality assurance processes.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to standardize and automate workflows.

• Assist with portfolio valuations, waterfall calculations, and reviews of capital calls, distributions, and management fee calculations.

• Engage proactively with GPs, LPs, and internal operations and technology teams.

• Collaborate with the tax team on tax-related issues and ensure consistency among accounting, tax ledgers, and investor reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or controlling (or equivalent).

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in fund accounting/administration (alternative investments).

• Experience in integrated setups that involve operations, accounting/reporting, and taxation is an advantage.

• Strong understanding of Local GAAP and IFRS.

• Familiarity with additional standards (e.g., Luxembourg, US) is a plus.

• Audit experience is beneficial.

• Practical knowledge of Invest Europe Guidelines.

• Strong command of reporting processes.

• High affinity for IT.

• Experience with fund-reporting software.

• Advanced skills in Excel / Google Sheets.

• Interest in utilizing project management software is an advantage.

• Analytical, detail-oriented, dynamic, and deadline-driven work style.

• Willingness to engage in continuous learning.

• Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.

• Proficiency in German is a plus.
