This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take charge of financial partnerships with VPs and C-level executives, delivering insightful fiscal analysis that supports strategic objectives.
• Develop and present reports to C-suite executives.
• Create financial models, annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly outlooks, guiding business partners while ensuring the precision and thoroughness of financial plans.
• Collaborate with the business to offer insights and recommendations aimed at driving revenue growth and enhancing profitability.
• Oversee the business's P&L by examining financial and operational outcomes, pinpointing improvement opportunities, and leading cost optimization initiatives.
• Formulate and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance forecasting and planning accuracy.
• Assist fellow FP&A leaders in crafting long-term strategies.
• Foster and/or cultivate a network of cross-functional contacts within the organization to proactively anticipate and strategize for changes in revenue generation approaches.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in financial analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel is essential.
• Experience in developing, maintaining, and reporting P&L results.
• Background as a finance business partner supporting senior leadership.
• Experience in Consulting or Accounting firms is preferred.
• Experience in team management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are necessary to engage with all management levels. As a global organization with employees and clients outside Quebec, fluency in English is required for this role.
