
Senior Manager, Field Events, Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and oversee the field marketing strategy for a top-of-funnel initiative
• Establish event formats, target audiences, and success metrics
• Create outreach strategies and event experiences designed to attract new prospects
• Utilize account-based marketing principles to pinpoint and engage target accounts
• Construct testing and optimization frameworks for outreach and event formats
• Collaborate with and influence sales leadership across various regions
• Reach alignment on target accounts and secure support for the events strategy
• Hold sales teams accountable for follow-up actions before and after events
• Direct the complete lifecycle of field events targeting both new and existing pipelines
• Oversee strategy, budget management, onsite execution, and post-event pipeline reporting
• Develop repeatable playbooks, invitation strategies, sales enablement kits, and follow-up schedules
• Supervise and mentor event planners and coordinators
• Assess and report on event performance in relation to pipeline and revenue objectives
• Demonstrate ROI to both marketing and sales leadership
• Work closely with Demand Generation, Customer Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Creative, Sales, Business Development, and Marketing Operations
• Travel and perform onsite event tasks, including moving supplies and setting up activations
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing or a related discipline
• Over 12 years of overall experience in marketing and events
• At least 5 years of extensive experience in sales-driven field events
• Proven success in establishing a field marketing program from the ground up
• Experience in designing outreach and event experiences that successfully attract new prospects
• Strong proficiency in account-based marketing (ABM)
• Demonstrated experience managing significant program budgets, such as $1M+ annually
• Proven ability to show clear ROI
• Exceptional leadership and influence capabilities
• Experience in gaining trust and fostering alignment with sales leaders outside of your direct report
• Direct experience in managing and mentoring event planners or coordinators
• Ability to think strategically while executing hands-on
• In-depth understanding of SaaS sales cycles and buyer personas
• Strong analytical skills and experience managing pipeline and ROI metrics
• Proficient in using Salesforce and Tableau for tracking attribution and conversion
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Willingness to engage in physical event tasks, including moving supplies and setting up activations
• Willingness to travel up to 25% annually, including some weekends or after-hours as necessary
