This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead Ashby’s strategy and planning for internal events.
• Organize and implement company offsites, functional offsites, regional gatherings, and other internal functions.
• Take full responsibility for major, high-profile events.
• Manage vendor selection and oversight, budgeting, travel arrangements, venue logistics, production, communications, timelines, and on-site execution.
• Establish repeatable processes, templates, planning schedules, playbooks, and operational frameworks.
• Lead and support a streamlined events team while clarifying program ownership.
• Assist with large-scale global initiatives and smaller team or regional events.
• Collaborate with People, Finance, IT, Marketing, Workplace, and other departments.
• Enhance employee experience through thoughtful event design, flow, and moments for connection.
• Balance long-term strategy with hands-on execution across various workstreams.
• Extensive experience in leading and executing large-scale internal events, particularly in fast-paced or high-growth settings.
• Proven track record in planning complex events for over 500 attendees, including multi-day programs, travel-intensive experiences, and international locations.
• Capability to define the operational model and directly manage event details.
• Experience in budget management, working with external vendors, selecting venues, handling travel logistics, and overseeing on-site operations.
• Proven ability in developing playbooks and scalable systems.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
• High standards for quality with a keen attention to attendee experience.
• Comfort in leading within a lean environment and taking direct ownership of event execution.
• Willingness and capability to travel for on-site events as required.
• Familiarity with internal employee experience initiatives and broader People Ops responsibilities.
