This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Take ownership of the AU Content Strategy.
• Oversee the comprehensive content strategy and execution for AU session programming, which includes breakouts, labs, panels, and expo theaters.
• Develop and refine the content architecture and audience journey, ensuring relevance across various industries, personas, and experience levels.
• Spearhead the creation of content pillars and messaging frameworks that align with Autodesk’s strategic priorities while influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Drive the design of sessions and instructional content, focusing on format innovation, topic selection, and maintaining content balance across different tracks.
• Establish a content investment strategy and make prioritization decisions among competing stakeholder needs and business objectives.
• Lead the Content Planning Lifecycle.
• Own the Call for Proposals (CFP) strategy, taxonomy, and the session evaluation process.
• Manage session selection and make trade-off decisions among submissions, balancing stakeholder priorities, audience needs, and business objectives.
• Define and enforce content governance, production timelines, and workflows from concept to delivery.
• Ensure high content quality through structured review cycles, speaker enablement, and narrative alignment.
• Establish criteria for content selection that aligns with business impact, audience value, and strategic priorities.
• Facilitate Cross-Functional Alignment & Influence.
• Serve as the strategic content lead among Product, Marketing, Communications, and Industry teams to drive alignment on priorities and direction.
• Provide advice and influence to senior leaders regarding content strategy, session design, and audience engagement.
• Influence decision-making on content investments, prioritization, and resource allocation.
• Navigate complex organizational dynamics to ensure alignment and execution at scale.
• Operate effectively in ambiguous environments and manage conflicting priorities to facilitate clear decision-making.
• Enhance Content Experience & Innovation.
• Define and refine best-in-class content experiences for Autodesk’s flagship events.
• Lead the development of innovative session formats and engagement models, including interactive, demo-driven, and broadcast-inspired formats.
• Integrate digital and in-person content strategies to create seamless, multi-channel experiences.
• Utilize data and insights to continually enhance content performance, relevance, and attendee satisfaction.
• Anticipate industry trends and evolving audience expectations to maintain Autodesk’s events as best-in-class.
• 7–10+ years of experience in designing and delivering content experiences for large-scale, enterprise-level conferences or events.
• Demonstrated success in owning complex content strategies and achieving business outcomes.
• Extensive expertise in content strategy, session design, and audience journey mapping.
• Strong executive presence, with the ability to advise and influence senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Exceptional skills in cross-functional leadership—comfortable driving alignment without direct authority.
• Experience collaborating with Product Marketing, Communications, and Event Production teams.
• Highly strategic thinker capable of translating business objectives into compelling content experiences.
