This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Oversee global services for Windows, Linux/UNIX, and hypervisor technologies that support HPE enterprise operations.
• Integrate two teams into a unified organization.
• Streamline processes, tools, and technologies into a singular operational framework.
• Propel modernization, compliance, operational excellence, and AI-driven automation across OS and hypervisor settings.
• Lead a worldwide team alongside managed service providers to create resilient, secure, scalable, and efficient platform services.
• Upgrade Windows Server, Linux/UNIX, VMware, and HVM platforms.
• Foster platform standardization, lifecycle health, patch compliance, security hardening, and operational preparedness.
• Utilize AI-driven automation, predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and intelligent operations.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to provide dependable IT services.
• Formulate and implement strategic roadmaps for intricate global OS and virtualization settings.
• Enhance reliability, compliance, patch health, vulnerability remediation, and operational consistency.
• Minimize manual effort and bolster service delivery through AI, automation, and analytics.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure.
• At least 4 years in leadership positions overseeing enterprise platform or infrastructure services.
• Extensive knowledge of enterprise Windows Server, Linux/UNIX platforms, and hypervisor ecosystems.
• Proven experience in managing OS lifecycle, patch compliance, vulnerability remediation, platform hardening, automation, and operational readiness.
• Familiarity with automation, observability, monitoring, configuration management, and AI-assisted operations.
• Capability to develop and implement strategic roadmaps for complex, global OS and virtualization environments.
• Proficiency in collaborating with cross-functional teams, managed service providers, and executive stakeholders.
