Senior Manager, Enterprise Business Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Lead, cultivate, and guide a global, multi-tiered Business Intelligence organization.

• Define and implement the enterprise BI strategy, roadmap, governance framework, and reporting portfolio.

• Oversee analytics platforms such as Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Oracle Fusion OTBI/BIP, Salesforce reporting, COMPASS, and associated technologies.

• Establish enterprise standards for BI architecture, KPI definitions, data governance, security measures, documentation, and data quality.

• Manage the entire BI product lifecycle, which includes intake, prioritization, development, testing, deployment, adoption, training, and support.

• Spearhead the modernization of legacy reporting solutions and direct migration efforts to future analytics platforms.

• Facilitate governed self-service analytics through enterprise initiatives and user communities.

• Collaborate with business, data, and technology stakeholders around the globe to prioritize investments and enhance business value.

• Supervise backlog management, portfolio planning, JIRA governance, release management, and performance measurement.

• Support advanced analytics, data science, and AI initiatives alongside enterprise technology and governance teams.

• Convey strategy, progress, risks, and business outcomes to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.

• 6+ years of progressive experience in Business Intelligence, analytics, enterprise reporting, or data platforms.

• 4+ years of leadership experience in a global and/or matrixed organization.

• Demonstrated experience in leading enterprise BI strategy, governance, adoption, and product delivery.

• Extensive expertise in Power BI, DAX, SQL, semantic models, data modeling, governance, security, and performance optimization.

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and enterprise applications, including ERP and CRM systems.

• Strong understanding of data governance, KPI standardization, reporting architecture, and analytics best practices.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, portfolio prioritization, backlog management, and JIRA governance.

• Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and influencing abilities.

• Willingness to travel up to 15% as necessary.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI Premium, Azure, AWS, Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, XMLA endpoints, Power Automate, DevOps, and CI/CD frameworks.

• Experience with Oracle Fusion OTBI/BIP, Salesforce reporting, MDM, ERP integrations, and semantic model governance.

• Background in building BI Centers of Excellence, Super User networks, or governed self-service analytics programs.

• Experience providing support to global commercial, finance, service, marketing, or executive leadership stakeholders.

• Knowledge of DBS, Lean, change management, or continuous improvement methodologies.

• Multilingual capabilities for engaging with global stakeholders.
