This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business leaders to ensure technical execution aligns with business objectives.
• Cultivate a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and innovation.
• Promote software development best practices, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Guarantee timely delivery of high-quality software solutions within an agile framework.
• Mentor and nurture the development of engineers.
• Lead and oversee a software engineering team, encompassing hiring, training, and performance assessments.
• Coordinate with architecture and platform teams on technical strategies and execution.
• Encourage cross-functional collaboration.
• Monitor KPIs and metrics, providing monthly reports to leadership.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and incorporate relevant innovations into the company’s IT infrastructure.
• Engage in software solution design and architecture.
• Ensure code efficiency, quality, and compliance with best practices.
• Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and clients to comprehend requirements and deliver solutions.
• Offer technical guidance and troubleshooting support.
• Create and maintain documentation for the software development lifecycle.
• Utilize generative AI tools such as Claude, Copilot, or ChatGPT to enhance productivity and outcomes.
• Over 7 years of software development experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a human capital leadership role.
• More than 3 years of experience working with COBOL.
• Strong expertise in building and maintaining SaaS applications at scale.
• Practical experience with Azure and contemporary development practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems; Git is preferred.
• Experience with Agile methodologies; Kanban is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
