This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Collaborates with Cushman & Wakefield business leaders, HR personnel, and employees regarding Employee Relations issues.

• Directs a team of Employee Relations Specialists across the Americas.

• Allocates cases to ER/HR team members and guides them in utilizing the case management system.

• Assists in establishing the centralized Global ER function.

• Offers solutions for both routine and complex Employee Relations challenges.

• Ensures a safe, secure, and legally compliant work environment.

• Acts as a resource for Employee Relations and HR teams on matters related to employment law.

• Generates and analyzes reports to identify trends in Employee Relations issues.

• Develops and presents training materials focused on EEO compliance and workplace investigations.

• Advises on sensitive or complicated performance management situations.

• Supports Employee Relations and HR teams in preparing essential case information for both internal and external legal counsel.

• Manages and facilitates the resolution of escalated Leave of Absence employment decisions.

• Leads the development and enhancement of company-wide HR policies.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on Employee Relations.

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Advanced degree is preferred (MBA, Master’s in HR, law degree).

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in team management.

• Proven expertise in handling challenging Employee Relations situations, conflict resolution, employment law, and influence skills.

• Comprehensive understanding of employment law.

• Exceptional diagnostic and analytical abilities; proficient in MS Excel spreadsheets.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong business acumen.

• Capability to influence leaders and colleagues; experienced counselor, consultant, and facilitator.

• Excellent organizational and project management skills.

• Proficient in MS Office and knowledgeable in HRMS systems like Workday and Service Now.

• Expert understanding of internal investigation principles.
