Senior Manager, Demand Forecasting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise the creation, assessment, and execution of precise customer demand forecasts for inventory replenishment within the designated segment.

• Collaborate with both internal and external partners to integrate customer feedback, financial/sales forecasts with system projections, evaluate performance/outcomes, and provide guidance to key stakeholders.

• Lead the ongoing enhancement of demand forecasting processes and systems.

• Investigate, innovate, and test new methodologies to improve forecast accuracy and streamline forecast management.

• Create tools, processes, and communication channels to foster a strong consensus on forecasts, from individual customer levels to aggregated financial/sales levels.

• Manage the performance of Demand Planners and Senior Demand Planners, ensuring that forecasts are effectively developed from both a system/statistical and consensus perspective.

• Proactively identify risks and facilitate solutions alongside team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in demand planning or a related area.

• Over 1 year of experience in managing or leading teams, with a focus on collective success as a measure of achievement.

• Comprehensive understanding of demand planning processes, statistical and forecasting techniques, and supply chain management.

• 3+ years of experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Python/R.
