Senior Manager, Data Management – LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily operations of the Data Management (DM) department.

• Strategize, implement, and carry out DM contracted initiatives.

• Provide guidance and spearhead data management projects.

• Facilitate communication between departments and with clients.

• Assist the Head of Department in delivering functional training and achieving goals.

• Directly manage, guide, and supervise data managers.

• Evaluate Request for Proposals (RFP), proposals, and change orders.

• Ensure that DM complies with project timelines and delivers quality outcomes.

• Educate clinical research staff on study-specific topics.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in Data Management and a minimum of 3 years in a management role.

• Bachelor’s degree along with hands-on clinical trial experience in a CRO or Pharmaceutical setting.

• Previous experience in managing personnel within a scientific or clinical context is preferable.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Capable of managing a range of clinical research tasks.

• Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.

• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

• Experience working with various clinical database management systems.

• Comprehensive understanding of drug, device, and/or biologic development, as well as effective data management methodologies.

• Strong leadership and interpersonal capabilities.
