Senior Manager, Data Acquisition

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the discovery, assessment, and acquisition of external data sources for mobile identity solutions and phone intelligence.

• Identify opportunities in the market and establish data partnerships that enhance product differentiation and promote long-term growth.

• Build and oversee relationships with data suppliers throughout the acquisition process.

• Collaborate with product, analytics, legal, compliance, finance, and technology teams.

• Manage supplier due diligence, data assessments, and onboarding processes.

• Negotiate commercial terms and assist in contract development alongside legal and business stakeholders.

• Supervise the transition of new data assets from evaluation to implementation and operational handoff.

• Monitor supplier performance and manage governance activities, issues, contract renewals, and related decisions.

• Create business cases, recommendations, and status updates for prioritization and executive decision-making.

• Ensure acquisition efforts comply with internal policies, risk standards, and regulatory requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Risk Management is preferred.

• A minimum of 9 years of relevant work experience.

• Proven expertise in mobile identity and phone intelligence on a global level.

• Practical understanding of data sources, market dynamics, and use cases across various regions.

• Established connections and experience collaborating with mobile network operators, telecom carriers, and associated partner ecosystems.

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements across different countries and industries concerning the use of phone numbers and phone intelligence data.

• Experience in contract negotiations, including commercial and contractual terms with external partners and suppliers.

• Proven ability to manage multiple external data and vendor relationships of diverse sizes and scales.

• Responsible for the P&L associated with external data and vendor partnerships.

• Strong skills in research, financial analysis, and business analytics/support.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing abilities.

• Capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels, including senior and executive leadership.

• Proficient in managing multiple priorities, issues, and deadlines simultaneously.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
