This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +4 more states.
• Spearhead the formulation and implementation of enterprise-wide financial strategies that align with long-term business goals.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to deliver strategic financial advice and facilitate high-level decision-making.
• Supervise consolidated budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and overall corporate financial planning.
• Perform in-depth financial analysis, discern trends, and provide actionable insights to enhance performance and direct investments.
• Create and present executive financial reports that track company-wide KPIs, analyze variances, and recommend actions to senior management and the board.
• Work in conjunction with Accounting, Treasury, HR, IT, and business unit leaders to support decision-making and ensure company-wide alignment.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, developing strategies for mitigation and growth.
• Enhance financial processes to boost the efficiency, accuracy, and impact of FP&A.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing FP&A team.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline is required.
• An MBA or CPA is preferred.
• Over 7 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Strong preference for experience within the healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Expert-level proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Capability to lead through influence and collaborate effectively with peers and executive leadership.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and achieve results in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional analytical and Excel skills.
• Ability to convert complex financial data into clear, actionable business insights.
• Demonstrated history of influencing executive-level decision-making.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in SQL, Looker, Alteryx, or similar analytical tools.
• Familiarity with pharmacy economics in retail pharmacy, PBM, or pharmaceutical settings.
• An advanced degree and extensive experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry are preferred.
• Expertise in advanced financial modeling and familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or Sage Intacct is preferred.
• Ability to work at a computer terminal for prolonged periods and perform specified physical tasks.
