This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +34 more states.
• Spearhead the formulation and implementation of financial strategies that align with Alto’s long-term business goals.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to deliver strategic financial insights and facilitate high-level decision-making.
• Supervise consolidated budgeting, data-driven forecasting, financial modeling, and comprehensive financial planning across the corporation.
• Perform in-depth financial analyses and present actionable recommendations to enhance business performance and guide investment decisions.
• Create and present executive financial reports that encompass company-wide KPIs, variances, and suggested actions.
• Work alongside Accounting, Treasury, HR, IT, and leaders from various business units to promote organizational alignment and informed decision-making.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, and devise strategies for mitigation and growth.
• Enhance financial processes and improve the efficiency, accuracy, and impact of FP&A activities.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing FP&A team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline is mandatory.
• MBA or CPA is preferred.
• More than 7 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis is required.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Expert-level proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis is necessary.
• Ability to lead through influence and collaborate effectively with peers and executive leadership is essential.
• Capable of managing complex projects and achieving results in a rapidly growing, fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional analytical and Excel skills are required.
• Ability to convert complex financial data into clear, actionable business insights is vital.
• Proven history of influencing decisions at the executive level is necessary.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities are required.
• Proficiency in SQL, Looker, Alteryx, or similar analytical tools is preferred.
• Familiarity with pharmacy economics within retail pharmacy, PBM, or pharmaceutical settings is an advantage.
• An advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related area is preferred.
• Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is favorable.
• Expertise in advanced financial modeling and familiarity with financial software such as SAP, Oracle, or Sage Intacct is preferred.
• Ability to work at a computer terminal for extended durations and meet physical requirements is necessary.
