This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee current business and customer relationships while cultivating new pipeline opportunities for enhanced engagement with Thermo Fisher Scientific.
• Implement and execute customer-focused strategies that boost satisfaction, loyalty, and advocacy to facilitate rapid business growth.
• Contribute to the development and justification of business cases to assess merits and prioritize opportunities based on profitability, strategic alignment, capacity, and resource utilization.
• Lead projects and contracting efforts that effectively meet the ongoing requirements of business relationships.
• Coordinate efforts among divisional sales teams and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with goals and activities.
• Support initiatives (e.g., Practical Process Improvement) aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and driving increased efficiency.
• Build and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships between Thermo Fisher Scientific and key customers.
• Guide and mentor a support team, focusing on setting goals, providing feedback, and developing performance improvement plans for assigned team members.
• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Over 7 years of customer experience with a proven history of successfully engaging and selling to senior-level executives.
• Strong leadership experience, with the ability to navigate a highly matrixed environment.
• Experience collaborating with non-commercial functions such as manufacturing, research and development, finance, supply chain, quality/regulatory, and services to achieve business objectives.
• Proven track record of operational excellence and fulfilling commitments.
• Trained in strategic selling methodologies.
• Solid financial and business acumen essential for comprehending key aspects of business opportunities.
• Demonstrated history of formulating contracting strategies and directly leading negotiations for complex, multiyear agreements with colleagues and customers.
• Industry-relevant marketing expertise required to create clear customer value propositions.
• In-depth commercial knowledge of direct and channel strategies.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the capability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
