This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of supplier operations for designated products, materials, and services, ensuring dependable supply and effective resolution of issues.
• Oversee purchasing needs, goods receipt, invoice clarification, inventory management, and handling of deviations.
• Cultivate and manage supplier relationships, performance metrics, commercial agreements, escalations, and ongoing improvement efforts.
• Direct supplier onboarding, qualification, and development in accordance with internal guidelines, regulatory standards, and Quality Management System requirements.
• Assist in evaluating, selecting, onboarding, and integrating external manufacturing partners and key suppliers.
• Propel supply chain resilience initiatives, which include supplier risk mitigation, second-source activities, process enhancements, and measures for supply continuity.
• Serve as a senior liaison between local and global stakeholders across Procurement, Quality, Operations, Regulatory, Planning, and Logistics.
• Offer insights into risks, bottlenecks, mitigation strategies, and decision-making necessities.
• Aid in supplier-related deviations, investigations, corrective actions, supplier follow-ups, and operational execution.
• Facilitate forecasting by aligning demand inputs, supplier capacity, and production needs with both local and global stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain management, supplier management, external manufacturing, or contract manufacturing operations.
• Extensive experience in a regulated environment, preferably in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Proven capability to manage Contract Manufacturing Organizations or external manufacturing partners.
• Comprehensive understanding of purchasing processes, supplier qualification, inventory oversight, MRP planning, goods receipt, and invoice verification.
• Experience in supplier onboarding, supplier development, performance assessment, and commercial negotiations.
• Demonstrated project management experience, ideally involving supplier transitions, second-source qualifications, process insourcing, or supply continuity initiatives.
• Knowledge of QMS requirements, internal controls, regulated supplier processes, and cross-functional quality standards.
• Strong stakeholder management abilities across local and global functions and across various time zones.
• Capability to work independently, structure ambiguous situations, drive decision-making, and appropriately escalate risks.
• Advanced communication style, business acumen, and a strong ownership mentality.
