Senior Manager, Continuous Improvement

📋 Description

• Oversee the Operations Efficiency program throughout SharkNinja, responsible for cost savings, service enhancements, and ongoing improvement initiatives.

• Create and manage the Operations Efficiency project portfolio, which encompasses opportunity identification, business case development, prioritization, execution monitoring, risk management, and benefits realization.

• Set up governance structures, routines, and reporting systems to track initiative progress, savings, and risks.

• Provide guidance to Operations leadership on improvements related to cost, service, processes, and organizational structure.

• Discover opportunities to minimize Operations Expenses while upholding or enhancing service levels, customer experience, and reliability.

• Collaborate with Global Logistics on cost drivers pertaining to distribution, transportation, delivery, warehousing, and carrier networks.

• Direct cross-functional workstreams that focus on cost-to-serve, delivery efficiency, network utilization, freight optimization, accessorial management, productivity, and service performance.

• Convert data and operational insights into actionable recommendations, business cases, and execution strategies.

• Work alongside Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Planning, Consumer Experience, and various stakeholders.

• Team up with Finance to confirm savings and reflect impacts in forecasts, budgets, and financial reports.

• Ensure transparency among initiative owners, milestones, financial impacts, dependencies, and risks.

• Influence cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders within a matrixed organization.

• Implement Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement methodologies.

• Diagnose root causes of cost increases, service failures, process inefficiencies, and operational challenges.

• Create scalable processes, playbooks, and tools to capitalize on efficiency opportunities.

• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and speed in operational enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Continuous Improvement, or a related discipline.

• Experience in consumer products, retail, eCommerce, durable goods, or rapidly growing global operations.

• Proven track record of leading cost reduction, operational efficiency, productivity, or transformation projects.

• Solid understanding of logistics, distribution, transportation, warehousing, delivery operations, and cost-to-serve factors.

• Experience managing cross-functional initiative portfolios with various owners, timelines, dependencies, and financial implications.

• Established ability to collaborate with Finance on savings validation, forecasting, budgeting, or tracking financial performance.

• Strong analytical abilities to transform complex data into insights, recommendations, and actionable plans.

• Experience in influencing cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders within a dynamic matrixed environment.

• Background in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, process improvement, or operational excellence.

• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

• Familiarity with ERP/WMS/eCommerce platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Shopify, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud is advantageous.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 20%.

• An undergraduate degree from a respected college/university, preferably in a supply chain-related field; this is regarded as ideal rather than a strict requirement.
