This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead enterprise product optimization projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, improving quality, elevating customer experience, streamlining workflows, and boosting business performance.
• Create and uphold lifecycle management frameworks for Baylor Genetics’ test offerings and associated platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Commercial, Laboratory, Clinical, and Operational teams to uncover continuous improvement opportunities.
• Assist in optimizing the test menu, rationalizing the portfolio, and making lifecycle decisions.
• Set and uphold operational standards within the Product and Program Management department.
• Identify and eliminate organizational bottlenecks that hinder delivery performance.
• Foster accountability across teams and endorse best practices in program management, product operations, business practices, and organizational execution.
• Aid in enterprise roadmap planning and governance.
• Define and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for product optimization and operations.
• Create executive dashboards and reporting frameworks.
• Establish measurement and reporting processes for portfolio health, delivery performance, launch readiness, operational efficiency, time-to-market, laboratory throughput, turnaround times, revenue performance, reimbursement outcomes, quality metrics, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Business Intelligence and Data Analytics teams to automate operational reporting and insights.
• Utilize performance data to discern trends, risks, and optimization opportunities.
• Maintain a prioritized list of improvement initiatives aligned with strategic business goals.
• Implement scalable governance, workflow, and decision-making frameworks.
• Advocate for process standardization and simplification across product, operational, and clinical functions.
• Lead cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and execute process improvement projects.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and organizational objectives.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, Engineering, Product Management, or a related field.
• Over 8 years of experience in Product Operations, Portfolio Management, Program Management, or related fields.
• A minimum of 3 years leading cross-functional enterprise-level programs or optimization efforts.
• Proven track record in planning and executing complex initiatives.
• Experience in leading kaizens, managing change, and enhancing processes.
• Strong executive communication abilities.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Experience in diagnostics, genomics, laboratory services, healthcare technology, biotechnology, or regulated healthcare settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with CLIA, CAP, FDA, and regulated healthcare settings is preferred.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Proficient in continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Skilled in process optimization and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent executive communication skills.
• Expertise in change management, governance, and leadership of adoption initiatives.
• Ability to operate within regulated healthcare, laboratory, quality, and compliance environments as necessary.
• Flexible remote work arrangement.
