This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Contribute to and support the Commercial Systems roadmap, which includes CRM (Salesforce) and various technology systems and tools.
• Collaborate with Commercial Strategy, Revenue Management, Sales Leadership, and other cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into effective technology solutions.
• Assist in evaluating build versus buy options for new tool investments, summarizing the trade-offs for leadership review.
• Ensure that platforms are well-documented, integrated, and maintained to ensure long-term sustainability.
• Oversee the continuous development, configuration, and optimization of the Salesforce platform to enhance field sales effectiveness and overall Commercial efficiency.
• Lead efforts in gathering requirements, designing solutions, developing user stories, and conducting UAT for Salesforce workstreams.
• Manage release processes, platform documentation, and end-user training to promote adoption and maintain data integrity.
• Collaborate with the JLI IT team to ensure effective integrations between Salesforce and related platforms, including ERP, data warehouses, and third-party analytics tools.
• Assist in designing and delivering custom-built internal tools when Commercial needs surpass off-the-shelf capabilities.
• Define technical requirements and coordinate with development teams or vendors to implement software builds.
• Help establish engineering standards, quality assurance processes, and release schedules for internally developed tools.
• Ensure that custom solutions integrate seamlessly with the broader commercial systems ecosystem.
• Develop and maintain the AI roadmap for the Commercial function, identifying high-value use cases such as account prioritization, lead and opportunity scoring, rep coaching, territory planning, content generation, and field reporting.
• Work with IT, Data, and external vendors to assess AI solutions; lead pilot initiatives and establish scaling criteria.
• Advocate for responsible adoption by building confidence among field teams, managing change, measuring impact, and iterating based on user feedback.
• Collaborate with Commercial teams and functional partners to identify system requirements and keep alignment on priorities.
• Translate technical concepts into clear business language for management audiences; convert business requirements into technical specifications for development teams.
• Work alongside PMO and Commercial Planning functions to ensure systems delivery aligns with commercial initiatives.
• Lead and develop a small team of Salesforce administrators and systems analysts.
• Coordinate with external development vendors, system integrators, and technology partners.
• Monitor platform budgets, project milestones, and delivery progress across all active workstreams.
• Carry out related duties as assigned, within your professional scope.
• 8+ years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, commercial strategy, or management consulting, with a strong technology focus.
• Strong skills in process design, with the ability to map and operationalize commercial workflows across organizations.
• Proven track record in defining requirements and overseeing the delivery of systems projects.
• Experience in coordinating with technical development teams or vendors according to a defined roadmap.
• Solid understanding of enterprise platforms (CRM, ERP, BI/analytics) and the ability to support technology evaluation decisions.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, commercial systems development, or enterprise technology.
• Demonstrated experience in building or supporting full-stack or enterprise applications in a commercial context.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and the capability to contribute to platform-level design decisions.
• Exposure to ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and cross-platform integrations.
• Working knowledge of API design, data modeling, and systems integration patterns.
• Senior Manager-level stakeholder management skills, including regular engagement with Director/VP-level commercial leaders.
• Salesforce certification is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple technology projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with a keen attention to detail.
