This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead, mentor, and oversee a team of product and clinical analysts, which includes responsibilities for hiring, goal setting, conducting formal performance reviews, and fostering technical career development.
• Take ownership of defining and governing the clinical product metric set.
• Establish analytics engineering standards, encompassing dbt models, definitions of the semantic layer, Git-based version control, testing, and documentation.
• Manage the Power BI portfolio focused on product health and clinician network performance.
• Define the standard for causal inference and supervise experiment design and method selection.
• Construct the evidence base necessary for coding integrity and audit preparedness.
• Utilize population health strategies to pinpoint encounters that most benefit members.
• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to implement models into point-of-care workflows.
• Oversee offline evaluations and post-deployment monitoring plans.
• Create ROI projections and prioritize the analytics roadmap based on business impact.
• Manage resources, intake, and delivery commitments across product and clinical stakeholders.
• Provide guidance to senior leadership and enterprise partners regarding data-driven strategies.
• Ensure that analytics practices comply with HIPAA, regulatory, and compliance expectations, and are capable of enduring audit and validation reviews.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Epidemiology/Biostatistics, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in product analytics, clinical analytics, or data science.
• At least 2 years of direct management experience with analysts or data scientists.
• Proven track record of managing an analytics roadmap from stakeholder intake to delivery and adoption.
• Proficiency in advanced SQL.
• Working knowledge of Python or R.
• Familiarity with dbt or comparable analytics engineering frameworks.
• Experience with Git-based development workflows.
• Knowledge of A/B testing and causal inference methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with data engineering teams on pipeline design and data quality assurance.
• Ability to articulate technical information to both technical and clinical audiences.
• Preferred: experience with healthcare data, including claims, EHR/clinical documentation, HEDIS or Star Ratings, ICD-10-CM, or HCC risk adjustment.
• Preferred: advanced degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Informatics, or a related field.
• Preferred: extensive experience with Power BI at a portfolio scale, including workspace governance and row-level security.
• Preferred: advanced knowledge of causal inference techniques such as instrumental variables or synthetic control.
• Preferred: clinical coding credentials like CRC or CPC, or experience in coding quality, auditing, or validation.
• Preferred: familiarity with value-based care, Medicare Advantage, or home-based care delivery.
