Senior Manager, Client Accounting Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Supervise and manage the accounting requirements of business, high-net-worth, and family office clients.

• Create new business opportunities and expand networking connections.

• Cultivate and sustain client relationships, promptly addressing any questions or concerns.

• Develop, monitor, and enforce a thorough set of internal controls while formulating policies and procedures related to accounting and financial matters.

• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including all pertinent journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, variance analysis, and associated reporting obligations.

• Set GAAP accounting standards and procedures.

• Evaluate financial reports and statements to ensure regulatory compliance and reporting accuracy.

• Prepare a variety of monthly and annual corporate financial reports for clients, including consolidated financial statements, income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and more.

• Assist in the implementation and integration of cross-functional accounting and finance systems.

• Mentor and guide staff through leadership and support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in a controller or client accounting services role.

• Demonstrated expertise in accounting and financial management.

• Strong leadership and management capabilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for building and maintaining robust client relationships.

• Proficient in accounting software and financial management systems.

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and financial standards.
