
Senior Manager, Business Development – New Markets

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Identify and develop revenue-generating opportunities across multiple new markets and sectors.
• Foster relationships with key industry stakeholders, technology partners, and strategic customers.
• Lead the formation of technical and commercial partnerships in new markets and sectors within the US, Europe, and Asia.
• Take ownership of the go-to-market strategy by pinpointing high-value use cases and players, while prospecting, negotiating, and finalizing multi-year contracts.
• Maintain and review partner and market forecasts quarterly with Sales, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
• Negotiate and manage partner agreements, including NDAs, SOWs, RFXs, and MSAs.
• Develop and sustain senior partner relationships.
• Advocate for partner needs internally and influence product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies.
• Guide partners’ sales and business development teams in transforming proofs of concept into tangible business opportunities.
• Represent Swift at significant industry events and gather valuable market intelligence.
• Encourage innovation across product offerings in emerging markets.
• Secure commercial contracts that contribute to the growth of Swift and its partners.
• Demonstrated success in converting market insights into finalized, high-value royalty, revenue-share, or subscription-based contracts.
• Experience in technology-driven markets such as silicon, IP, software, or SaaS.
• Proficient in driving partner product launches from initial concept to measurable success.
• Strong strategic and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Over 5 years of experience in business development, product management, or sales within technical software/services markets.
• Energetic startup mentality; excels in ambiguous situations, acts swiftly, and achieves results.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on relationship-building.
• Comfortable balancing strategic oversight with detailed execution tasks.
• Willing to travel up to 40% during peak periods.
• Exceptional communication skills in English.
