This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead HealthSpring’s Local Broker Strategy.
• Oversee a team of sales professionals conducting new Individual Medicare Advantage and Part D sales virtually.
• Manage sales initiatives through Local Brokers, Downline Agencies, and smaller FMO Partners.
• Establish quarterly new sales targets for the Virtual Broker Management team.
• Ensure the Virtual Broker Management team, in partnership with the Local Broker team, meets quarterly new sales objectives.
• Serve as a liaison between national and local broker teams.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration among broker teams.
• Contribute to maintaining a premier broker experience at all levels of the hierarchy.
• Cultivate strong working relationships with local and regional sales leaders and matrix partners.
• Travel as necessary.
• Comprehensive knowledge of managed care products, processes, and trends.
• Strong people management, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
• Analytical skills and system proficiency for developing and interpreting reports, as well as preparing leadership reports and presentations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentations, relationship building, and business writing.
• Capacity to manage multiple competing priorities.
• Experience addressing the needs of customers, brokers, and employees.
• Proven experience in building relations with local brokers, downline agencies, and Topline FMOs.
• Knowledge of industry trends and business intelligence.
• Adaptability and flexibility; capable of navigating change.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to eliminate obstacles.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across local and national sales teams.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in managed care sales, account management, or servicing, OR 10 years of experience in managed care sales, account management, or servicing.
• Current, valid State Insurance License, or a license that is fully processed within 90 days.
• Willingness and ability to travel.
• Preferred experience with sales systems such as Salesforce.com.
• Preferred 2 years of experience in leadership, supervisory, or management roles.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
