This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Collaborate with Life Sciences stakeholders to comprehend business needs and convert them into analytical solutions.
• Transform launch strategies into segmentation frameworks, KPIs, and data products utilized by commercial leadership.
• Foster stakeholder alignment across Marketing, Sales, Market Access, and Analytics.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment with launch milestones. Work alongside the engineering team to create Snowflake-native data models that are optimized for scalability and reuse.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the Power BI semantic model (measures, relationships, performance).
• Promote self-service analytics through well-structured datasets—not solely dashboards.
• Establish governance for KPIs, track adoption, and define success metrics for the product.
• Lead a small cross-functional team that includes data engineers and analysts.
• Function within an agile delivery model that ensures clear sprint outcomes and visibility for executives.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team.
• Over 15 years of experience in commercial analytics, data product management, or analytics consulting within the pharma/life sciences sector.
• Comprehensive understanding of commercial pharmaceutical functions, encompassing Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Patient Services, Omnichannel Engagement, and Launch Excellence.
• Proven experience with industry-standard datasets such as IQVIA, Symphony Health, Komodo, MMIT, Veeva, Claims, Specialty Pharmacy, Hub, and Patient-level data.
• Background in supporting commercial analytics, field force effectiveness, customer targeting, segmentation, omnichannel measurement, forecasting, patient journey analytics, or launch readiness initiatives.
• Strong technical proficiency in SQL, cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, GCP), and BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau, with experience in enterprise-scale analytics settings.
• Robust understanding of data product development, including data modeling, semantic layer design, KPI frameworks, and Agile delivery methodologies, capable of translating business requirements into scalable analytics solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in owning product backlogs and executing roadmaps.
• Ability to work independently in greenfield or build-from-scratch environments.
