This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a regional team of Field Reimbursement Managers to ensure effective field execution and consistent delivery of buy-and-bill product reimbursement and access support.
• Provide ongoing field coaching and performance feedback to enhance team capabilities and execution.
• Ensure that FRMs offer accurate and compliant support regarding coverage, coding, billing, payment, product acquisition, and affordability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support access strategy, field execution, and customer education initiatives.
• Monitor team activities, capacity, and performance utilizing available analytics, reporting tools, and business reviews.
• Identify skill gaps and implement development plans, training support, and coaching interventions as necessary.
• Maintain direct engagement with key accounts and customers when appropriate to address complex access or reimbursement issues.
• Communicate field insights, trends, and barriers to internal partners to support overarching strategy and continuous improvement.
• Assist in hiring, onboarding, coaching, and ongoing talent development for direct reports.
• Ensure all field activities conform to AbbVie policies, approved operational methods, and relevant compliance requirements.
• A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in coverage, coding, managed healthcare, and/or market access in neuroscience, specifically in Managed Health Care, Payer Account Management, Field Reimbursement Manager, or a comparable role.
• At least 3 years of experience in leading field teams, demonstrating successful coaching, management, and personnel development.
• Experience in eye care, specialty products, physician-administered therapies, buy-and-bill, or specialty pharmacy is preferred.
• Proven knowledge of reimbursement processes, payer policy, and access dynamics.
• Demonstrated capability to manage complex customer situations with sound judgment and strong compliance awareness.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• In-depth understanding of coverage, coding, billing, and reimbursement support processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across various internal functions.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• High integrity, emotional intelligence, and professionalism.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned geographic area.
• Valid driver's license: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements.
• Must meet all applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements.
