Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer – Infrastructure Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Execute systems programming for IBM z/OS / MVS.

• Install, maintain, enhance, and support software utilizing SMP/E.

• Manage mainframe software administration.

• Engage with JCL, ISPF/TSO, VTAM, and TCP/IP.

• Provide support for IBM Connect, CA Session Manager, and CA Spool.

• Collaborate on mainframe systems infrastructure, architecture, and design.

• Utilize BMC AMI tools including AMI OPS Automation, AMI OPS Monitors, or AMI Output Management.

• Offer technical leadership and assist in project/program management and stakeholder communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with IBM z/OS / MVS Systems Programming.

• Proficient in SMP/E software installation, maintenance, upgrades, and support.

• Experience in the installation and administration of mainframe software.

• Familiarity with JCL and ISPF/TSO.

• Understanding of VTAM and TCP/IP.

• Experience with IBM Connect, CA Session Manager, and CA Spool.

• Knowledge of mainframe systems infrastructure, architecture, and design.

• Proficient in BMC AMI tools such as AMI OPS Automation, AMI OPS Monitors, or AMI Output Management.

• Skills in technical leadership, project/program management, and stakeholder communication.
