Associate IT Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +13 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage network infrastructure that supports our global workforce.

• Implement AI tools and platforms to enhance organizational efficiency.

• Design, deploy, and oversee Meraki infrastructure in offices worldwide using the Meraki Dashboard and APIs.

• Resolve issues related to Wi-Fi, switching, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, and connectivity.

• Handle relationships with ISPs, including circuit procurement, installations, renewals, SLAs, outage escalation, and domain performance monitoring.

• Plan and execute network installations, relocations, and upgrades in collaboration with Facilities and Security.

• Manage Zero Trust and network security infrastructure, including Cloudflare Zero Trust/WARP, VPN, and firewall policies.

• Monitor network performance and capacity, address incidents, and implement root-cause solutions.

• Maintain architectural diagrams, IP plans, runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Deploy and administer Gemini Enterprise, Claude, and related enterprise AI tools.

• Create AI-driven automations to reduce manual tasks for IT and business teams.

• Enforce controls on AI usage, data protection, data loss prevention (DLP), audit logging, and access policies.

• Assess AI tools and vendors, conduct pilot programs, and recommend adoption based on measurable outcomes.

• Develop integrations and automations using scripts and APIs.

• Serve as an escalation point for complex network and infrastructure challenges.

• Participate in a global on-call rotation.

• Collaborate with Security, Compliance, Facilities, IT Support, and Engineering teams.

• Lead projects and contribute to shaping the technical roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in network, infrastructure, or IT engineering.

• In-depth knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, TLS, VPN, proxy, and firewall.

• Demonstrated troubleshooting capabilities.

• Practical experience managing Meraki or similar enterprise network infrastructure.

• Experience engaging with ISPs and carriers, including circuit management and outage resolution.

• Hands-on experience with enterprise AI or large language model (LLM) platforms, encompassing administration or integration tasks.

• Proficiency in Python, Bash, JavaScript, or another scripting/programming language.

• Experience in building applications against REST APIs.

• Understanding of AI data security principles, including data classification, DLP, and the principle of least privilege.

• Strong critical thinking and structured problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document designs and instruct others.

• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively across various teams.
