Senior Machine Learning Engineer – Content and Contributor Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive analyses, managing data through SQL or Python, statistical modeling, and proposing business concepts.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, promoting a culture of learning and technical excellence.

• Engage with large and intricate textual and visual datasets.

• Assist in the development and implementation of projects that involve machine learning models for both offline, batch-based data products and models utilized in online, real-time services.

• Collaborate within the contributor and visual intelligence team on text and visual comprehension, as well as fine-tuning transformer models to generate embeddings for various input types.

• Streamline and automate model pipelines within Python services.

• Champion and promote the adoption of best practices in machine learning development and operations, while mentoring newer engineers in these methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models, especially in neural networks, computer vision, and large language models (LLMs), including their corresponding data pipelines.

• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Spark MLlib, XGBoost, and Sklearn.

• Strong programming skills in Python or equivalent languages (Java, C++).

• A solid grasp of engineering and infrastructure best practices.

• An inquisitive nature to discover innovative solutions to new challenges, along with the determination to see your ideas through to completion.

• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is mandatory.
