This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Utilizing best practices in Data Science and Machine Learning to create robust models that enhance data-driven decision-making across various business sectors.
• Employing machine learning and data science methodologies such as forecasting, predictive modeling, classification, regression, recommendation, and optimization to address business challenges.
• Conducting experiments and assessing models through relevant statistical, technical, and business performance metrics.
• Designing, constructing, deploying, and sustaining scalable machine learning models and AI solutions that are integrated into enterprise systems, applications, and operational workflows.
• Creating and executing comprehensive ML workflows, which encompass data preparation, feature engineering, model training, validation, deployment, optimization, and ongoing monitoring in a high-scale production setting.
• Developing reusable machine learning components, feature pipelines, and model-serving frameworks to assist various use cases and teams.
• Crafting and implementing production-grade MLOps solutions utilizing Azure ML, Databricks, MLflow, and other related cloud technologies.
• Establishing and maintaining automated ML pipelines, feature engineering workflows, feature store patterns, and deployment processes for the training, testing, monitoring, and retraining of machine learning models.
• Enforcing standards and best practices for model versioning, lifecycle management, governance, deployment automation, model performance monitoring, drift detection, data quality, operational health, and retraining triggers.
• Producing production-quality Python code, APIs, automation workflows, and machine learning services to incorporate ML capabilities into business applications and processes.
• Over 10 years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering, Data Science, Applied AI, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or another relevant quantitative discipline.
• Extensive hands-on experience in building and deploying cloud-based applications and machine learning services.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, along with solid software engineering principles including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
• Practical experience with industry-standard machine learning and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Scikit-learn.
• Demonstrated ability to productionize machine learning models and manage scalable, reliable ML systems within enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Machine Learning, Databricks, MLflow, CI/CD pipelines, model lifecycle management, monitoring, and deployment automation.
• Comprehensive understanding of API design and service integration, machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, feature engineering, and model evaluation methods.
• Proven track record of taking solutions from prototype to production.
