This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Develop machine learning models for production implementation.
• Conduct thorough exploratory data analysis to identify ML opportunities, highlight potential data issues, and establish the foundation for model design, training, and evaluation strategies.
• Propose and execute new features aimed at enhancing model performance and business logic.
• Write and review high-quality production pull requests on a daily basis.
• Convert client business challenges into machine learning challenges.
• Create scalable machine learning models for claim time series forecasting and natural language processing text comprehension.
• Continuously expand your knowledge and skills in the data and machine learning domains, focusing on business challenges that necessitate interpreting large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist, ideally in high-scale production settings.
• Extensive knowledge of data science and machine learning technology stacks (sklearn, Keras/PyTorch, tuning frameworks), data analysis and modeling, proficiency in Python/Pandas/Jupyter, and a commitment to scalable technical concepts and solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, enabling effective interaction between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A collaborative team member with a solutions-driven mindset.
• Familiarity with Claude Code and related tools is a significant advantage.
