
Senior Lung Disease Sales Specialist – Rare Disease

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Puerto Rico.
• Manage and enhance sales of all UT products, with a specific emphasis on Tyvaso, within a designated territory of targeted physicians and key accounts through effective territory management and execution of sales and marketing strategies.
• Act as a vital educational resource for all physicians and healthcare professionals engaged in the treatment of PH-ILD and/or IPF.
• Promote marketed products in accordance with corporate directives within an assigned geographic territory and designated accounts, actively engaging with the PH-ILD and IPF community.
• Establish and nurture professional relationships with various customer types (MDs, NPs, PAs, RNs, and specialty distributor staff) to ensure optimal product messaging and education regarding assigned UT products.
• Analyze sales reports to develop and implement business plans aimed at increasing business and driving sales in key accounts, achieving or surpassing target sales objectives.
• Collaborate with other field-based team members to enhance selling, educational, and support efforts.
• Effectively utilize available resources to drive sales with key clients.
• Acquire and maintain expert knowledge of the disease state, product offerings, and competitive landscape.
• Employ a sales force automation system to maximize territory effectiveness and maintain accurate records.
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in nursing or life sciences), or equivalent experience.
• Over 6 years of successful experience selling pharmaceutical therapies or similar products to specialty physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals (e.g., cardiologists, pulmonologists) OR over 6 years of healthcare/nursing experience with advanced lung disease.
• At least 2 years of experience in Cardiovascular and/or Pulmonary Disease Therapeutics areas.
• Proficient knowledge in Cardiovascular and/or Pulmonary Disease therapeutic areas.
• Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record in sales and exceptional communication skills.
• Develop and retain comprehensive knowledge of UT products and services.
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing.
