This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Creating operational tools using Python, Ruby, or a comparable programming language (these tools extend beyond shell scripts for API integrations, data processing, and system orchestration tasks).
• Designing and implementing systems that are highly available, self-healing, scalable, and efficient.
• Developing extensive metrics, monitoring solutions, visualizations, and alerting systems applicable to all aspects of the infrastructure.
• Designing and implementing all system components with a focus on “Security First” principles.
• Actively engaging with AI tools across all phases of development and support.
• Taking part in an on-call rotation.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Linux Systems Administrator or Engineer.
• Comprehensive understanding of Linux fundamentals including filesystems, process scheduling, virtual memory management, and other essential primitives.
• Thorough understanding of the TCP/IP network protocol and addressing.
• Extensive experience in developing operational tools using Python, Ruby, or a similar programming language.
• Significant experience with Configuration Management platforms (such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Familiarity with metrics, monitoring, and visualization tools (like Prometheus, Influx, Grafana).
