This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Oversee and address the complete process of employee exits across various international locations, ensuring a top-notch offboarding experience for Remote's clients and their staff.
• Offer expert advice and manage client inquiries on a variety of HR issues, including but not limited to termination, resignation, transfer processes, employment contracts, and redundancy procedures, while ensuring adherence to legal standards and best practices.
• Facilitate meetings with clients and external employees, including but not limited to consultations on workforce reductions, administrative hearings, and negotiations related to separations and settlements, providing guidance on terminations and delivering outcomes.
• Negotiate and influence favorable outcomes in complex termination scenarios, balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders with differing interests.
• Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance in offboarding activities and audits, including but not limited to payroll, legal advisors, governmental agencies, and trade unions.
• Accurately draft, customize, and manage all termination and supplementary documents, ensuring employee records are maintained in strict accordance with privacy and confidentiality protocols.
• Execute offboarding procedures on Remote's internal HRIS platform, partnering with various internal teams, such as Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, and Benefits, among others, to ensure all aspects of the employee exit are handled correctly and in a timely manner.
• Serve as the subject-matter expert, addressing internal and external inquiries regarding all offboarding issues in collaboration with Lifecycle's internal stakeholders.
• Guide clients through Remote's Employee Relations resources and documentation, assisting them in understanding relevant policies and procedures.
• Conduct initial assessments of workplace issues, pinpointing key facts and applicable local regulations.
• Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the proper management of employee relations concerns.
• Assist clients in grasping progressive disciplinary strategies and documentation necessities.
• Track ongoing employee relations cases, ensuring timely follow-up and collaboration with pertinent stakeholders.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process enhancements, automation, and product development to improve overall customer and employee experiences through offboarding and employee relations practices.
• Proven experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner, possessing generalist HR skills and exposure throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience with a solid background in managing both voluntary and involuntary exits (terminations) with empathy, legal compliance, and providing comprehensive HR support regarding employment laws and regulations across various jurisdictions.
• Ability to interpret and apply industrial instruments, analyze complex HR challenges, conduct research, offer practical solutions, and effectively communicate recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders in ambiguous and unfamiliar environments.
• Basic knowledge of employee relations principles, progressive discipline strategies, and the fundamentals of workplace investigations.
• Exceptional communication, influencing, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills, with the capability to confidently steer challenging conversations toward positive outcomes, often in situations where parties have conflicting interests, while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
• Proficient in written and spoken English at a business level (advanced), with knowledge of additional languages considered an advantage.
• A strong inclination to innovate and enhance processes, continuously identifying and implementing automation opportunities and promoting best practices.
• Operational efficiency with an understanding of the significance of meticulous record-keeping and data integrity.
• Tech-savvy, capable of collaborating asynchronously across various tools, and adaptable to new and evolving systems.
• Ability to work independently and cohesively within an international team in a fast-paced, asynchronous, remote environment while managing multiple priorities. Willingness to work flexible hours as required.
