This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.
• Act as the primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, employment verification, policies, and HR procedures.
• Oversee and direct HR cases through the ServiceNow platform.
• Recognize opportunities for enhancing HR processes and the overall employee experience.
• Coordinate the complete onboarding process for new hires, encompassing both local and international employees.
• Assist in conducting new hire orientation sessions and benefits presentations.
• Maintain employee records and ensure proper HR documentation.
• Handle employment documentation, background checks, and compliance requirements (I-9, E-Verify, Right to Work, etc.).
• Manage employee benefits enrollment, modifications, and terminations.
• Process life events, open enrollment, and dependent verification efficiently.
• Oversee benefits billing and reconciliation with vendors and payroll.
• Address employee benefits inquiries and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
• Provide HR operational support for employees in Costa Rica and the UK.
• Assist with Global Mobility initiatives.
• Collaborate with local leadership to offer day-to-day HR support.
• Generate reports using Workday.
• Aid in the testing and implementation of HR systems.
• Participate in HR projects, process enhancements, acquisitions, and other operational initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Over 4 years of experience in Human Resources or HR Operations.
• Proven experience in supporting onboarding, employee lifecycle management, and HR administration.
• Strong preference for experience in managing employee benefits.
• Familiarity with US and Costa Rica HR processes is essential.
• Experience in maintaining confidential employee records is required.
• Proficient in HRIS platforms (Workday preferred).
• Experience with ServiceNow or comparable ticketing/service management platforms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with DocuSign is an advantage.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher) is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Spanish is required.
